Liam is 1 Year Old!!!!

I can't believe it!  Time flew by faster than ever!!!

-Liam weighs 27lbs 4 oz, and is 32in long.

-He throws himself (sort of) when he is mad.  It's like his mini tantrum, only he's really bad at it.  He'll sit himself down, put his hands on the ground and slowly lower himself into a laying down position, and then once he's laying down, he just stares at me like, "I showed you!"

-He gets really excited and starts to run toward me, or whatever he is excited about.  It's hilarious because of how fast he gets going and his facial expression while he's doing it.

-We always ask him "can we see it?" with whatever is in his hands, and he (no matter how far away we are) always holds whatever it is out, and says "uh?"

-He loves giving hugs and kisses.  He is such a sweet boy.  So glad.  He's gonna be a heartbreaker for sure!

-He hates getting his diaper changed.  I have no idea why.  I think it's more about us laying him down to be still than it is the actual diaper change.

-He still loves bath time!!

-Sydni and I took Liam swimming for the first time (besides the baby pool at home) and he loved it!!  He held on to me for dear life, but laughed and smiled the whole time.  We don't any pictures of it because we were there by ourselves :-(

-He laughs all the time, even when something isn't funny or there isn't anything going on.  He will just start laughing like "ah-ha...ha-ha..." and he glances to see if we are watching, and we laugh back and then he really laughs because he thinks it's funny.

-He loves his daddy and runs to the door when he gets home.

-He had his first birthday!!

-He likes to sit and "read" his books.  He will sit there for 10 minutes just flipping back and forth between pages.

-When we go outside he always says, "wheooo."

-He got his first haircut (which he desperately needed) by one of my bffs who is a supreme hair stylist (gonna toot her horn *toot toot* who worked at a high end salon in Beverly Hills with celebrity clients)

-He likes to sit in his Bumbo, even though he doesn't fit.  He makes it work.

-He knows how to actually operated some of his toys now.  He has a popper toy that you have to press down the middle to get it to pop, which he now knows how to do, and he has a car that goes when you turn the ball on top, or when you make a noise so he can do that, too.  And he has a giant Pooh Bear (it was Syd's) and he pushes his tummy and he talks.  He always grins after, so I know he's proud of himself.

-He frequently makes these sounds g (guh), guy (no meaning obviously, but wouldn't that be awesome), dahdah, ma, p (puh), ya ya ya, r (ruh), v (vuh)

-He wears 2t-4yr Jammies.  He wears 2t jeans, 18-24month/2t pants, 3yr shirts, size 6 shoes, 5/6yr socks

-He wears a size 5 diaper (huggies), size 6 (luvs)

-He's very friendly (as long as one of us is holding him) and he always waves to everyone.  He also does a double waves that's super cute.  His wave is basically him flapping his hands up and down like they are wet or something.  It's so cute.

-He likes to touch our  mouths. I guess it's our teeth he likes?

-He has a lot of teeth now!  6!  Two more are getting ready to pop through.

-He refused his binkie randomly about 2-3 weeks ago.  I have no idea why, but I don't care.  THANK YOU!

-He loves to share his food, even if he doesn't actually put it in your mouth.  He is now into sharing his cup, too.  Thanks Liam!

-He still eats pretty much anything....even if it isn't food.

-naps around 11 and sometimes around 3:30

-He laughs hysterically when we say, "come oooooooooon" in a funny voice.

-He likes when we are running while carrying him (safely of course).

-He loves spending time in the kitchen.  Mostly because he feels obligated to empty out the snack drawer every visit, as well as take down all of the towels from the oven handle, help with dishes and take all of the spice bottles out of the bottom cabinet.

-Bedtime is between 7-8pm

-He still drinks bottles (4 a day).  Since we don't have to worry about breaking him of his binkie anymore, we can start on bottles soon!

-He points to things, and says "uh" while doing it just kind of making sure we know he's talking to us.

-He likes to change the channels with the remote.  He even tried buying "Bad Teacher" on ppv.  Luckily, I caught it and saved myself $5!

-He loves his sister to pieces.  My mom watched them one night, and Sydni left the room for a second, and he stood at the gate crying for her.

-He makes this weird yelling growling sounds, very throaty sounding.  He thinks it's funny.

-He likes to play chase with Syd, when we carry him and pretend like we're trying to get her.

-loves getting his teeth brushed (he tries to do it himself and enjoys that, too)

-He's always up for being silly.  Even if that means wearing his sisters boots (he insisted by handing them to me and saying, "uh uh!!"
